Youth Ministry

   Our program called “Common Ground” is geared for

    grades 6-12 and there are many fun activities while

    being solidly built on the Word and Love of Jesus.

G.R.A.C.E. Groups

    God calls us to live in community and through these

    groups we’re able to get together around a meal,

    scripture and discussion in small numbers.  Contact

Bible Study Opportunities

Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML)

    Helping women use their gifts to serve the people of the

    world.  There are two weekly meeting times.

    Naomi Circle  12pm 1st Tues of every month

    Mary Martha Circle 7pm 1st Wed of every month

Monday Bunch

     An incredibly giving group of gentlemen who enjoy

    hangin’ out, drinkin coffee, and fixing things all over

    our church and school campus.  They’re great!

Worship Choir

    The choir sings primarily at the 8:15am service and

    rehearses on Thursday nights with some pizza and

    social time afterward! Freshmen in HS to Senior

    Citizens are welcome anytime to join.

Contemporary Worship Teams

    Calling all musicians!! There are 3 worship teams        

    which rotate throughout  the year.  You may join as

    a substitute by contacting Seth Gehrke or wait

    until July to audition and be placed on a team for the

    next year.

   

Sewing & Craft Circle

    This group of believers have a talent for sewing and

    crafts which sell to raise money for missions or just to

    give away to help those who need it.  They meet

    monthly on the 3rd Wed. in Luther Hall from 11am   

    until 2pm except for June-August.

Craft Club

    This is another opportunity to use your artistic ability

    by sharing social time with other Christians while

    learning more about your crafting skills. Friday night.

Quilters Group

    These servants of our community meet on the first

    Wed. of every month from 9:30-12:00 in Luther Hall

    to make quilts which are given to children being placed

    in foster homes around Modesto. Everyone is welcome!

Men’s Basketball

    On Wednesday nights from Nov.-Mar. a bunch of

    guys get together to enjoy some bonding and bball.

    Spirit Center at 8pm.

Summer Softball

    Grace has its own softball team during the summer

    and enjoys lively competition with other Christian

    groups from around the Modesto area. Come have fun!

Altar Guild

    These individuals care for the altar area in the church

    every week and prepare it for worship.  All are welcome

    to help with this service to our church family.

Stephen Ministry

    We are grounded in our command by Jesus to love one

    another and through one-to-one caring relationships,

    Stephen Ministers are there to counsel and support

    our family members when needed.  We are always

    looking for others who feel called to care and love

    people who are hurting. If you are in need of care,

    please call the office to be put in touch with a Stephen

    Minister.
